the .deb file on the website is terribly outdated. I don't have Ubuntu
or Kubuntu, so I can't create a binary package. But installation from
source isn't too difficult:
- install build-essentinal, automake, autoconf, libqt3-mt-dev, xorg-dev,
kdelibs4-dev.
- download the 2.2.0-beta or the daily snapshot tar file
- unpack the tar file
- enter the new directory and run:
- make -f Makefile.dist
- ./configure
- make
- make install
