Cumulus package for N800/N810
After a year of hard work a portage of Cumulus from Qt2 to Qt4 for Nokia Internet Tablets N800/N810 is available. The Debian Cumulus package for Maemo is built for OS2008 and contains already the required Qt4.3.3 libraries. Furthermore the command line tool aplay is contained which is used for playing alarm and notification sounds.
To install the package on your Nokia tablet do the following:
1) Download from here www.kflog.org/fileadmin/user_upload/cumulus_snapshots the latest published package identifiable by the extension .deb and put it in a directory on the MMC of your tablet.
2) Open the Program Manager
3) Choose the option Program->Installation from File
4) Navigate to the downloaded Cumulus package and select it
5) Continue with the installation
A second possibility is to start the download in the Maemo browser. In a popup dialog you will ask to install it by using the program manager.
The delivery contains also the English online help. You can open it by pressing Menu key, that opens the menu bar. Then select in the Menu bar the entries Help->Help. That will launch the online help browser. The online help is also to find here:

Some feedback about that package would be welcome.
