Select Your maps

Please enter the borders of the bounding rectangle of your map area in degrees and the type of map files you want to download. Select the right sky directions for latitude and longitude.
E.g. For Germany you have to type in:

North 55 N
East 14 E
South 47 N
West 6 E

After clicking on Create Map Files, you will get a link to download your tar ball.

Note: The ground files will automatically be added to the tar ball.

To install the map files, unpack the tar ball into $KDEDIR/apps/kflog/mapdata/landscape or your configured map directory.
For Cumulus please have a look into the online help to find the right install location.

add Terrain files
add additional Map files (highways, roads, rivers, ...)
old format (check it for KFLOG or Cumulus releases before 2009-07-16)
